A workshop on theaforementioned topic was held on 1st March 2018. Read More We got an overwhelmingresponse with so many registrations. After the registrations the workshopstarted with the first ‘Inaugural session’ by Dr. S. K. Dhage. After this we beganwith the second session on ‘Tax structure in India Before Implementation ofGST’ by Dr. Kishor Nikam. In this session he took an overview of world andIndian economy and tax structure.
Third session wasconducted by CA Mohasin Nadaf on ‘AnIntroduction to GST’.
Both the sessionswere interactive and provided an in-depth analysis on the structure of GST andits implementation.

A Two day State Level Seminar on “Gender Sensitization and Women Empowerment” Read More was organized by the Department of Sociology of Dr. D. Y. Patil Arts,
Commerce and Science College, Pimpri on 12th and 13th January, 2018. Chief Commissioner (Retd) Customs and Central Excise Mrs. Shashi Minz, graced the occasion as the inaugural Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Shruti Tambe Head Dept. of Sociology Savitribai Phule Pune University preceded over the programme as Keynote Speaker. Vice Principal Dr. Ranjit Patil and Coordinator Dr. Malini Nair were present on the dais. Eminent speakers like Capt. Ashwani Bhakoo from Bodh Academy, Mr. Milind Chavan from Masoom NGO, Adv. Aarti Bhonsle, Mrs. Shubhangi Koparkar from Snehalay Pune and Mrs. Sarita Bhat President Swadhar NGO Pune enlightened the participants with their expertise views. 13 Delegates and 14 student participants presented their papers in the seminar. The Conference was a great success with 50 research papers from the participants from different parts of the state was received which is Published in UGC Approved Journal. Total 100 participants attended the conference.
